Overheard at the breakfast table:
P, age 5: I'm going to say the Presidents. Washington, Adams, Jefferson,...... [continues on]
T, age 7: Those aren't the Present Tense. They are amo, amas,..... [conjugating present tense form of love in Latin.]
Man, we are raising some big time nerds. I love it!
I am in trouble. Soon enough my kids will find out they are smarter than me.

Love it! Your kids are so funny....
ReplyDeleteps. I love nerds. I really do! :) I want Boyd to be the cutest, smartest nerd ever.
Oh, how I love your little nerds! Reminds me of our first year in CC. Bricelyn received a new puppy for Christmas and named her "Haywire." I was working at the computer -- listening to Briley reciting the timeline in the living room. She got to the Battle of Hastings when the argument began. After a few minutes, it became physical. I couldn't imagine why things got so heated so fast! Bricelyn explained that Briley was "taunting" her by saying her dog, Hay, "stinks." Haha! Best not to be a nerd with a slight speech impediment. ;)
ReplyDeleteI just cracked up! I love her "accent" ;o)
